Terrorism has become a sort of screen created by policymakers in Washington … It is fabricated to keep the population afraid and insecure, and to justify what the United States wishes to do globally.

The United States and Britain warned their citizens on Sunday of an increased risk of terrorist attacks in Europe, with Washington saying al Qaeda might target transport infrastructure.

Supply and Demand(DEA seize drug-smuggling submarine)

There are good reasons why The global drug trade is controlled and run by the intelligence agencies. The major pharmaceutical companies are big backers of the Drug War… It’s not that they don’t want us on drugs – they just want us on theirs. The demand for drugs is the engine of the trafficking problem. We will not solve the problem. It doesn’t matter how much we work against the trafficking of drugs, how many lives we lose. It doesn’t matter how great our effort, the problem will be there. The consumption of drugs is the real problem.

Monopoly Men.War against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think they are going to profit from it.

Monopoly Men. Our system of electing politicians to office is rotten and corrupted to its core, because organized money has long since replaced organized people as the author of our politics. And most of it comes from rich people and corporations, who now own our political process—lock, stock, and pork barrel. Money becomes evil not when it is used to buy goods but when it is used to buy power, Government by organized money is just as dangerous as government by organized mob.

Manufacturing Consent,Programming Through Mass Media

Manufacturing Consent. Mind Control Theories and Techniques used by Mass Media.  The film presents and illustrates Chomsky’s and Herman’s propaganda model, the thesis that corporate media, as profit-driven institutions, tend to serve and further the agendas of the interests of dominant, elite groups in the society. A centerpiece of the film is a long examination into the history of The New York Times’s coverage of Indonesia’s invasion and occupation of East Timor, which Chomsky claims exemplifies the media’s unwillingness to criticize an ally.

President Clinton  presented  the Presidential Citizens Medal to  Ruby Bridges-Hall.

On November 14, 1960, Ruby Bridges made history as she was flung into the vortex of a war she hadn’t started, and was too young to even comprehend. But she was certainly old enough to feel it. A pawn in the game of civil rights, and a pivotal image marking the start of the desegregation of public schools in the US, Ruby bravely walked through a crowd of raised fists and jeering faces pelting her with insults, to become the first African-American child to attend a public school in Louisiana.

The mob mentality escalated as the little 6-year-old girl was escorted by federal marshals up the steps into the school. She didn’t flinch. She later said that the noise was, to her, no louder than Mardi Gras.

She spent that entire first day in the principal’s office with her mother listening to the mob outside, and watched as the other mothers grabbed their childrens’ hands and took them from the building in protest.

Senior U.S. intelligence officials told Congress Tuesday: an attack on the United States in the next three to six months  by Al-Qaeda is likely.  It is important to ask some very important questions:

Is the government lying?  They lie continuously.

Is the government in a panic?

Is the government manufacturing a threat to control /frighten us all?  you be the judge.
